In 1967, Dr. Hugh Mazzawi opened a dental practice in Snellville, the home of his beautiful new bride. Dr. Anne joined the practice after completing her dental education. Both graduates of Emory University School of Dentistry, the Mazzawis set out to bring the best in oral health care to rural Georgia. Their plan was to care for the community, not just teeth. They did exactly that and along the way, instilled the same desire into their children. As the surrounding area grew and flourished, so did the practice. Patients became part of the family.

Dr. Hugh became known as a wiz in prosthetics (crowns, partials, and dentures). Dr. Anne’s passion was endodontics (root canals). Tag team dentistry was born! During 35 years of practice, Drs. Hugh and Anne practiced with over 50 friends and colleagues.

Today, the practice consists of several of the original staff members, many new faces, and five of their children as well as their nephew. With the same goal in mind, optimal oral health care, the practice continues to grow and grow. We are committed to providing quality dental care in a relaxed and comfortable setting.
